Join the next DC School Behavioral Health Community of Practice meeting on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm to explore how to increase family and youth voice in school behavioral health through peer-to-peer models.

Meeting Theme: Youth & Family Engagement in School Behavioral Health Through Peer-to-Peer Models

The meeting objectives are:

  1. Explore best practices and innovative approaches to improve family and youth engagement in school behavioral health.
  2. Describe the family and youth engagement goals in the school strengthening work plans (SSWP) 2023-2024.
  3. Showcase youth & family peer-to-peer models focused on elevating and amplifying family and youth voices in school behavioral health.

Who should attend:

  • School Behavioral Health Coordinators and Clinicians from DC Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools (please feel free to invite other members of the team, such as administrator, mental health staff, etc.)
  • School Mental Health Clinicians from DBH and Community Based Organizations (CBOs)

The DC CoP is designed for school teams to attend and advance the implementation of school behavioral health best practices to support their School Strengthening Work Plans.
