The meeting objectives are:

  1. Explore the best practices in engaging families and youth in school behavioral health.
  2. List engaging strategies to include families and youth in school behavioral health.
  3. Showcase a school journey of engaging families and youth in the SSWP process.

Who should attend:

  • School Behavioral Health Coordinators and Clinicians from DC Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools (please feel free to invite other members of the team, such as administrator, mental health staff, etc.)
  • School Mental Health Clinicians from DBH and Community Based Organizations (CBOs)

The DC CoP is designed for school teams to attend and advance the implementation of school behavioral health best practices to support their School Strengthening Work Plans.
