Using Conversational Circles to Build Community and Connections – September 27, 2023

The DC School Behavioral Health Community of Practice meeting explored Conversational Circles, a proactive strategy to build strong connections among students and staff and fostering safe, supportive, and positive school culture.

The meeting objectives are:

  • Introduce the collective care framework to promote school wellness.
  • Discuss restorative practices to foster a safe, supportive, and positive school culture that can be applied by school teams.
  • Share back to school resources that promote effective collaboration between students, staff and community partners.
