The meeting objectives are:

  • Introduce the collective care framework to promote school wellness.
  • Discuss restorative practices to foster a safe, supportive, and positive school culture that can be applied by school teams.
  • Share back to school resources that promote effective collaboration between students, staff and community partners. 

Who should attend:

  • School Behavioral Health Coordinators and Clinicians from DC Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools (please feel free to invite other members of the team, such as administrator, mental health staff, etc.)
  • School Mental Health Clinicians from DBH and Community Based Organizations (CBOs)

The DC CoP is designed for school teams to attend and advance the implementation of school behavioral health best practices to support their School Strengthening Work Plans.
