The DC School Behavioral Health Community of Practice meeting on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 explored the impact of community violence on youth, families, and schools.
The meeting objectives are:
- Understand community violence and the impact of trauma affecting youth, families, and school staff.
- Identify best practices on violence prevention models and programs for use in schools and communities.
- Explore community resources and share strategies that can utilized to develop supportive responses to community violence and trauma.
