The meeting objectives are:

  1. Define Tier 1 universal supports.
  2. List strategies from Every Moment Counts program that can promote positive mental health in students.
  3. Identify when and how to implement Tier 1 practices throughout the school day.

Who should attend:

  • School Behavioral Health Coordinators and Clinicians from DC Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools (please feel free to invite other members of the team, such as administrator, mental health staff, etc.)
  • School Mental Health Clinicians from DBH and Community Based Organizations (CBOs)

The DC CoP is designed for school teams to attend and advance the implementation of school behavioral health best practices to support their School Strengthening Work Plans.
